Wal-Mart to Cut 20M Tons of Emissions by 2015

This week, Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. (NYSE: WMT) issued a groundbreaking objective: to eliminate 20 million metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions from its Gits global supply chain. The ambitious objective has a target date of 2015.
The goal will involve close collaboration with suppliers and environmental experts for the independent assessment carbon reductions.
